Hi there, NTi continues to make progress with plans for our new 350 seat theatre in Central Auckland: The Building NTi will now proceed with further feasibility work for the Council owned sites. NTi has raised $55,000 and Auckland City have approved up to an additional $50,000 to support this. We will now develop detailed architectural plans that will enable more accurate costing of the project. We will also look at different models for the transfer and ownership of land and buildings as well as continuing to develop our business model. Once we have a more accurate picture of the building and its costs we will report back to Auckland City. From there we will be able to proceed to the next stages that will lead to the construction of the theatre. We are very grateful for the high level of support Auckland City have shown for the project and this gives us confidence that the industry will eventually have a world class flexible theatre in Auckland.
