• One level below Queen Street – rehearsal room 2, toilet blocks, administration, dressing rooms, green room, storage space and loading dock
• Queen Street level – bar/café, ticketing area, main floor of auditorium
• One level above Queen Street – rehearsal room 1 with balcony,  the second gallery level of the auditorium.

Town Hall Arts Precinct

Q Theatre is the catalyst project for the Town Hall Arts Precinct development which would bring together a dynamic mix of arts groups, performance and rehearsal spaces, creative businesses and agencies, cafés, bars and retailing, around a central courtyard. Auckland City’s Property Enterprise Board is now working with planners and stakeholder groups, such as the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, and NBR New Zealand Opera, to make this exciting new development happen.  For the context, see Auckland City Arts projects on the Auckland City web site.
